An east coast breeze in subtle ease Lifting warble to sky On the shear of an ink tip Melting water colored verbs Into cool mountain tops Clear as rain Nettle and Columbine bloom Against new leaves on old ground Happy hearted greetings Not quite conducive to song A smile kept upon a string Each moment to another bring Busy now in buzzword wakes How much longer tender takes Sigh and jasper throat Ending on a happy note Might this be the antidote For what I cannot say Copyright Kkh 4/13/06 |
