Where the child can be free

Night Sky

Starry eyed and breathless
with years on the wind
everyone has their shade
just tell me where
in the blend I lie

somewhere between the reds and blues
of vivid imagination so that
it's almost a crystal memory
so clear in the murky waters
of a merciless reality

an instituted haze to answer
questions i've been too afraid
to ask of anyone. Self included
and now there's no one to ask
did they die or was it I?

Maybe in a tea cup at night visioning stars

We see crispness in ourselves

We dream and see and dream and see

Or do we really take the time to think over a day and all the rubbish that sometimes comes with it

Your words I found started me thinking

Dave
