The Ghost of Loneliness A world of ghosts living, breathing ghosts that no one can see or hear The truth is ... no one cares to see or hear Walking among us but apart ... Separate and severely blue the world of lonely spirits makes up me and you Isolated and alone in this world, no longer home No longer a place to laugh with friends and be free Ghosts of Loneliness prey on thee Behind the facade of prosperity lurks no concern for neighbor or friend Often a place with no respect or dignity no one cares to see ... where lonely ghosts meet their end terasinas 8/21/2003 |
