The Watering Hole
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

On a lazy day in summer,
A contented mare and her foal,
Graze on daisies and clover,
By spring watering hole.

Thank you, Phil! The photograph of my painting seems to have lost some of its warmth and light in the scanning process but I'm pleased that you like what you see!

Have a glorious day!

A beautiful painting and beautiful words to match.

It would take a true Angel to do this.

Eric, you have such a lovely way of saying things with an economy of words ~ both in your poetry and in your replies!

Thank you! It was nice to hear from you this morning! You've been gone far too long!

Martie Flowers ~

I've got an idea! Would you consider trading one of your flower poems for one of my horse paintings?

When one writes as well as you do, one has no need for a paint brush.

Hugs with love,

Good morning, Mr. T. ~

If, as you say, it would take an angel to do this, then I KNOW that you could paint far better than I can!
