Did I Pass The Use By Date

Was I in still your archives
Perhaps your database
Recently I have wondered
Had I now been replaced

Had I been kept in storage
Where I can be located
Did I go in a disc clean up
Was my data eradicated

How about the Hope folder
Saved especially for me
Had you got me filed away
To bring out occasionally

Did I pass the use by date
Is that your new strategy
My archives for nine years
I guess I am now history

it really stinks to feel "used" for sure

I do wish you could find some closure, but I know it's not easy
