The Mirgraine Throbbing pain in this head, tears fill my eyes. Silence the noise, close the blinds, pull the drapes. Take a pill, use a cool compress, and hope and pray the mirgraine goes away. Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, |

Oh, sweet pea! I'm so sorry to hear that you are experiencing migraine pain. I also find it helpful to lie right down in a cool bath with just my nose above the water line. I breathe slow, deep, and even and think cool blue. I keep adding some more cold water as the water warms. I then lie in bed with ice packs surrounding my head and over my eyes. I used to suffer horribly with migraines. I am so thankful that I am no longer plagued by them. I wish the same for you, froggy friend. Loving, healing hugs, Linda |

froggy Well done, but Earth Angels advice is the only one I ever heard of. It might be worth a try. |

I can FULLY understand this one. I too suffer from migraines and you have depicted it well. I have a poem about migraines as well and they are not pleasant. Now when I get a migraine, I go to the hospital where they give me a fast drip IV and within 15 minutes the migraine is gone. I'm no doctor but I would ask about it if your migraines are really bad. The worst they can say is that it would not be right for you. I hope you pains are few and far between. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |

Froggy~ Made me rub my forehead in sympathy~ I've only experienced a few episodes of the classic migraine ... with the first one ... I truly thought I was going to die ! After that one and consultation with an expert in classic migraine management ... I learned that when the 'aura' that preceeds the migraine starts ...if I begin to walk at a brisk pace and continue for twenty minutes, I can usually prevent the rest of it from coming on~ I wish you relief~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ Email - [email protected] |

oh dear...I don't think I've ever had one but I've had quite a few bad headaches in my time...so I can relate a little bit. |

Thank-you Musicmaker1969 for the suggestion. I take imitrex for the mirgraines but it doesn't always work. :-) Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, |
