Open my eyes
So that I can see everything the way it secretly is.
I want my heart to take photographs that are partly true,
And partly smoke,
But mostly dreams,
And I want to give them to you for safe-keeping.

Open my eyes
So that I can see your eyes.
I want to see my reflection in them
And I want to see past my superimposed image
(which shows me as I am)
To your perception, which tells me I am beautiful.

Open my eyes
So that I can see you.
I want all the colors of you to bleed into each other
And burn so bright that they blind me.
I want that to be my affliction in this life,
And I want you to heal me.

To be seen through somebody's eys as beautiful alone is so precious, its amazing how one person can make all the difference in your life.

This part speaks to me! (My husband tells me always, how beautiful I am..I tell him he's crazy...lol)
