time forgotten
rotten in the
stench of

a kiss
before I

in
random
grab of
puzzling...

try it

             there

no, there...

a sigh...

'it doesn't fit'

(they walk away)

another night
in disarray
upon this hardened
tabletop
in wait
for one who'll
recognize the
interlock of
me

Puzzle, indeed.

Well done, both to title,
theme, and execution
of the poem.

I would try you out
on the "masquerade" some day,
but methinks I would never,
ever! do you justice!

Some poets just cannot be duplicated!
