Love Examined (for Honeybunch)

“Love means never having to say you’re sorry?”
(Ok, don’t yell, I had to say it…)
Love is another tomorrow?
Love is not being the one who needs to borrow?
Love is not hatred, but to be hated?
Love is constant, consistent, and consuming…
I guess Love is in the category of “C.”
Or is that the Key of C?

Love means you are devoted.
So not being in love is not to be devoted?
Love means to adore.
No, not a door, adore; as in: I adore pizza…
Love is free?
Well it was in the ‘60’s; I think….
Love means worship?
Love means devoted?
“Yeah right, tell that to someone who really cares.”
I heard that! …

Love… what is it good for?
No, excuse me that was “War what is it good for.”
Well at my age, Love is very hard to define.
I mean I thought I knew what it was, or is…
But I don’t… If someone does, please explain?

Sorry Honeybunch…

Well, what a surprise, JL!  First reaction is - "hey, I've got sombody thinking about love so a pat on the back for me."     I still have to think about my second reaction and will do so when time permits.  Yeah - love is the pits in this world of ours but that's only because it's perceived with worldly eyes.  If we could only know more.  We will one day - of that I am sure.
Fantastic write, JL!  I'm still smiling!  Going back for another read because now you've got me thinking but then again I don't lay any claim to the knowing of it all so more thought is always good!
Oh, and your apology is accepted in case you were wondering.

It's a disposable diaper I think....but works just the opposite....the diaper starts out empty...then gets full.....the "other" starts out full then fills up with the same thing as the other..

Well JL since I am such a whiz at this I'll give it a try. Hahaha That's a joke.

Now let me see.
Love is a whirlwind of passion, fireflies and butterflies hitting your stomach all at the same time.
Love is warm and cuddly...like a summer rain soft and gentle.
Love is the absolute, adoring, look within a puppies eyes.
Love is a mixed up mess.

love is also confidence in oneself...and never once wonders what's in it for me?  Love is tangible, fragile, strong, reinforcing, supportive, ever changing, kind and considerate...but most of all, love is loving oneself...respecting oneself...and to allow that commodity to flow over all others we come in contact with...love is basically from within...for everyone and everything...even when it's most difficult to love them...it is trying times, healing, never always agreeing, but listening, and being open to learning...
I think?  hehe

loved the opportunity you give the reader to ponder, your humor, your inquisitive nature...well, just you...

Toerag: OK??

Bonnie:  You hit it right on the head.  “a mixed up mess”  Thanks sweet lady!

Sweetberry:  Me too.  I knew there had to be someone who would like that line.  I can’t be the only one…  Right?

Lee J: Thanks.  You always see the optimistic side.  Thanks!

Have you ever anagrammed words?  Look at
L O V E and  E V O L V E

Love is how we evolve.  You can't touch it with your physical senses, but we sure do a good job of trying.  Somehow, I think is is an entity of it's own, and it claims its own via reflection.

Just musing here...
