I felt the need to post a second poem. I feel fairly creative in the early hours of the morning. In, my opinion, it isn't as strong s my first but it was easily more complicated since I encoded some information about me in a rather complicated fashion Where Silence Lies Scarlet, painted in the distance an imprint of beauty and sorrow six velvet tears fall from eye to earth faded petals from the rose In the early mourning glow I lie wide awake and drowned in every moment passion consuming, controlling my dreams a masterpiece of crimson Each thought is now a spiral Beyond hope and past all saving As the gentle smoke still rises I've found where Silence lies [This message has been edited by openthoughts (01-16-2006 09:41 PM).] |

Welcome to Passions, openthoughts. There is so much to read here and so many good poets -- don't feel overlooked. This is some really nice writing and I will keep my eyes open for more. |

Silence is ever intoxicating, ever eluding and always seeking control. It carries great power with it. Loved the poem. Keep writing |
