5228 Eyes to Prosper 29 March 2006 This beauty eyes to prosper bespectacled to gaze The inquisitive to intelligence the heart tranquil to perfect sight A true princess to inquire captured within a net of eloquence As a rose to a thorny bush her blood pure to breathe Hair golden spun - silken to softness of a smile never to be parted in ponderance Given the spirit of motherhood to taste neither taken in ways given to life Her tiara - an invisible halo crowned in her inner-being Solace in search of kindness gathered near - yet held in a distant heart “Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.” Isaiah 33: 17 KJV a poet who cares |
