May your sunsets be of color,
Enhancing your day-end pleasure
Ending your day with happiness
Beyond all human measure.

God gives us glory all around,
With miracles each day,
The cry of a newborn child,
Or when rainbows are displayed.

The unusual is now just common,
With springtime leaves displayed,
Starting out each morning
Thru colored sunrise days.

Just go down to the ocean,
Where colors change horizons
Grab a Kodak moment,
Feel breathless in your sighing.

I live each day as it may be
The last I walk this earth,
I appreciate these treasures
And live life for all it's worth.

(and, the best way to enjoy these gifts is
with a mate...preferably naked and drunk).

May your life be filled with many more Kodak moments such as you have so beautifully described.

Long John Silver might miscontrue your reference to a naked, drunk, mate! Ahoy there, matey! Hardy har har! Keep your eyes peeled at the back of your head, my dear sweet innocent Toe! Flirty 2

Lovely poem. You are mellowing out in your old age! ~ But you still have that signature Toe twist of lemon at the end! Pigtails

So good to read you again, my Bama friend!
Linda

And when an admission like this comes from a professional photographer... you know the scene is incredible. *S*
It's hard to count our blessings if we don't bother looking for them... thank you for this reminder to do both! *S*
Wonderful write, dear friend! *S*

... and part of that 'glory' is in having
a friend and poet such as you are to so many~

Bless you gentle friend~

And so it those we live with
and should know who elude us
But we can still love them
we can love completely
without complete understanding

Oceans and sunsets are made for each othe, and I can't think of anything that feels more like the handiwork of God.

May your happiness be as vivid as those colors.  Thank you for sharing it, too.

I had a Kodak moment the other day with sound. Next door are two new puppies, not to friendly to a stranger. So I have been trying for a few weeks to make them decide I was a friendly stranger.
The little Beagle said "FOOD" and came and took her cookie and started to wiggle. The little black pup stood back and barked. So I threw her a cookie. She grabbed it an ran up on the porch. Still trying to show she was boss. She chewed her cookie, trying to maintain her bark and growl and keep the cookie in her mouth. Just to cute.
Loved your write.
Hugs
