March Snow March snow falling a murmur in my heart calling to you do you hear me now? Can you get to me somehow? The world's all green and white and there's no love in sight for me oh can you hear me? Cracked heart beating for a social meeting with you reach out for your hand reach out, any way I can tell me the difference this morning is it just the dew forming or impending snow please let me know Green, white and grey today make a promise to stay through it all, hear my call let's face the big and scary "come what may" March snow on the hills reflecting in my mind numb but for you if you were here now to warm my bones somehow the girl of my brightest dreams, get back to mending torn seams inside me only you can renew me Blue and black my heart attack I can't feel a thing for I lack the emotional stimuli inside let's face it, I'm in dire need so please come back March snow numbs the thrill of discovering myself in spring honey, please come through ah, if you were here with me to sort out my many miserys the girl of my deepest thoughts, smile your smile of 100 million watts I'm pleading the only one I'm needing And there's a cloud in the sky that says I love you, goodbye, baby it was nice of you to try to catch a sunray for me next time, put it in a box of musty pine days like this, I'd let it ease my mind so let the March snow fall and let it all come true just a hint of the shape of you in my darkest dreaming find the real meaning of me in you and only you can renew me "I'm the soul drifter, and I'm out of this town, ain't no use hangin' round, you see" -- Lindsey Buckingham, 'Soul Drifter' |
