Sorry if my poems seem a bit....different lately.
I have a lot of static that I need to get out.
And static breeds static, right?

no need to panic
keep yr fingers poised
on the cooolllddd door knob
who knows what could come out

is this hardwood
that I'm pressing my face against?

step on the gas
see what happens
see where we'll end up
see where she'll end up

not with my hand on the keys
your feet on the dashboard
and her breath on the mirror
making little water droplets

oh was that a red light?
and another and another and another and another

think they're trying to tell us something?

don't look at me like that
fog can cloud a persons judgement
I'm just trying to fill my lungs

yr not so alone
just look past the fog
and find what you were looking for
find yourself in nothing
it's a test to see if you exist

Please know that you're not alone in that endeavour and your poem was far from "static" - it pulls empathy and association from the reader. Good write!
