I miss the beach side secret where we were popcorn in tin cups trying to get it right but the eyes kept the fire down you drove crazy I remember with a foot in each lane and your eyes were on high beam blinding your view in the mirror we talked often then about the dogs and horses and why your dove sang songs when the phone rang did it know my number then or was it something you said in your throat about love and japanese men serving sake I loved you when you were jealous too ___________ daark |
