The truth is on the evening news. There's wisdom in my children's eyes. I know the game, I've read the rules designed by intellectual fools. Tonight I need my lover's lies! Lie to me my darling tell me you are mine that you'll stay forever until the end of time. Tell me that the moon and stars set in these southern skies are only there for me to see myself, through your bright eyes. Fill me, thrill me, with your lies until reality blurs into the vestige cache of faded memories. The wise say "TRUTH SHALL SET ME FREE" The truth is on the evening news. There's wisdom in my children's eyes I know the game... |

Welcome to Pip. I liked, very much the way this wrapped around full circle. Your final stanza completed the thought, thoughtfully. and I've got this thing 'bout thinkin'... Enjoyed. |
