Forever Rose ~ Linda L. Dowd ~
A luminous drop of morning dew, reflects the light of early rising sun. While resting precariously on edge of delicate petal of pink, a rainbow of color meets my eye.
Within this droplet of crystal light, lie the secrets of this microcosmic world. Roses in gay profusion lend their floral essences to this enchanting garden divine, promoting peace and rejuvenation.
A Shangri-La, where time stands still as the sweet scent of roses permeates all of one's being with eternal love and serenity. A glint of light catches my eye and I gaze into the liquid promise of roses forevermore.
“We are borne of star dust, and to the stars we shall one day return.” ~ Linda L. Dowd

"Within this droplet of crystal light, lie the secrets of this microcosmic world."
This just made me think Linda- no matter how far we advance, we cannot match the beauty or depth in a single drop of dew.
Enjoyed this, as I do all of your poems.

Happy Spring! A delight to read on the first day of Spring. This makes me all the more ready to go out and dig in my garden.
I am praying you are feeling better.
I watched your friend on TV. She is great. Would you please send her to my house, QUICK.
Loves, Prayers and Hugs, Marti

EA, there is more than a glint of light that reaches your eye!
A Shangri-La, where time stands still as the sweet scent of roses permeates all of one's being with eternal love and serenity. A glint of light catches my eye and I gaze into the liquid promise of roses forevermore.
I truly enjoy your insight!

"EA, there is more than a glint of light that reaches your eye!" ~ I had to chuckle at that line, my friend! 'Tis sooo true!Today I am back at the hospital for some more laser surgery on my eyes ~ around my optic nerves and on my retinas and burning out those extra blood vessels I grew and are bleeding! I have two more surgeries scheduled after that! Triple yuk!
~ but they are saving my eyesight ~ so burn away, Dear Doctor!
I am so looking forward to seeing the spring flowers blooming! Yipppeee!
Loveya! EA

Lovely Lady ~
It was the most aggressive and painful eye surgery to date, but the pain is most definitely worth the gain! Mind you, I'm still a bit blinded today, but I'm sure that that will clear up! Besides, I have to see the flowers blooming! The crocuses are bursting through the sodden earth in my area of the world ~ and 'tis a glorious sight, indeed!
Flower hugs, EA
