As we walk through, Day by day & by night, Down through the valley of evil, We see miles, but yet the same sight. We all shuffle past, the shadows of death. With the constant question, where were our footprints left? They may make a mark, on the sidewalk dampend with rain. Even an indentation in the moistend grass. In the end, they all look the same. In this world of confusion, they disappear as if delusions. Footprints left unseen, lost in a meaningless world of seclusion. Every stride made sends us in circles, sending us places that nobody knows. Steps that take us nowhere, yet everywhere. Lost footprints in the shadows. Bobby Lee |
