Look upward and see
The roof of the world of ours,
Yet there birds fly free
Drifting casually away hours
While beneath we toil
Ever grounded on this soil
Envying those birds we see.

I must say I am somewhat surprised
To find a poem of my still so close to the top;
Mine are oft to sink rapidly to the bottom of the pool
Not to rise
I am pleased so many find this worthy of comment
