A blade of grass rises Glistening with morning dew A rose bud welcomes the sun Just to get a look at you The ocean’s tide pours in The trees shake off the night Bees buzz around your window Just waiting for the sight Birds sigh with anticipation While flowers begin there bloom Every thing is filled with excitement Knowing you’ll awake soon Clouds billow in the sky As they fill up this glee And squirrels are more than manic As they play so happily The sun rises Casting it’s warmth on your face But so sad a quite now Left alone in this place As darkness covers the land, the fun has just begun |

This was really a pleasure to read, except for the second last line. I think that it might be a spelling mistake - not sure. But, other than that .. it was very nice. hugs, Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |

an excellent write which allows the reader to imagine many passings ... words may convey the feeling but it is the feeling that carries the words Ct |
