First time on here. I'm not as talented as the many other poets on here. But what the heck, I'll give it a shot.

A hint of sweetness, followed by bitter,
A vile flower clothed with glitter.
I turn away, to move away,
Hoping it would fade away.

It toys with wishes, and flirts with emotions.
Deep in me, it brews commotions.
A game, so twisted, it never ends,
Played with scars, that never mends.

It blinds the player, deafs his ears,
mutes his speech, and shows his fears.
A beautiful summer, by deceit,
Lies, deception, all a cheat.

It brings only darkness, and strips all light.
Took my place, where I once ignite.
Enough, over, please let me go,
In my grave, I will thank you so.

The game of Love, so dark, so low.
Why you came, I'll never know.
