522-5459 was certainly a brunette who wholeheartedly grabbed my ass in gym class. 673-1422 easily stole my virginity and 674-0779 stole her soon afterwards. Both 523-0359 and 522-3861, respectively, declined multiple offers of affection, though the former came around at twenty something. When down and out I call those old numbers even though most have moved on to better things or died on the way. If I’m lucky, some random fellow picks up and I hang up, but every so often a familiar voice comes on and I hang up even faster. Recently, I can’t seem to retain numbers or the ugly faces that go with them and don’t really care either way. |
