Even if it's graveling loose stones biting at my hand even if I drank to it as if this all were something grand even pebbles moon and bits of every little bit of it proved to be hypothesis and this, we slide o' talleyman dreaming of the way we were and shells were beach's smacking hands of sentimentalism grand-- I stack the chips on it. |

Even if... they say every day is a gamble but if my eyes open, and I can walk through the doors... then I'm one step ahead of the dreaded roll. THIS poem I'm taking with me, as I head out the door. Chips and all. |

Such a neat poem, serenity. I read it several times, each time appreciating its meaning more. Memories, even the most painful, can be grand in their own way. Tally me 'sentimental'. My mind must be taking a trip over the weakend tonight because of my offkey thinking into your poem. I know this is WAY OFF BASE, but I can't help think of how a delicate bird uses the pebbles for digestion. Can one compare how one digests memories? Oh, just a thought... Now, serenity... you doggone inspired me to turn off the screen and see what will come out. Thank you, serenity. misce |

I've noticed a lot of gambling themes in my own work of late, which is weird, 'cause I never touch the stuff. Hmmm...maybe it has something to do with a five foot tall bundle of good luck I have living with me now. (Don't mess with her poker machine--and deuces wild is HER game) But I AM gambling in a sense. I'm willing to bet that this country will live through this too. thanks all for reading |

They used to think the thing was flat, and that green top.....but being round doesn't make the stack fall when you slide it out, just gives you more room around the edge to do it in. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Okay....? Not sure what that last comment meant, but thank you for reading anyhow. "one dread roll" just a musing on confusion |
