A matter of hours A flicker of time My world is ripped apart The speed is intimidating The violence breathtaking Uprooted from my place of safety Left with all my silver linings black The rain begins to fall Falling like tears on the shattered remains of all my dreams And my life is forfeit Where do you go In a city of dead ends Where is my heart Could have sworn it was in good hands The pain is all that penetrates through the gloom I want only to curl up and die To lie down and never get up Just let time bury me With the ghosts of what could have been |

Nothing hurts worse than a broken heart. Maybe a toothache.:-) My little boy came home with one a while back. That all encompassing lonely pain that we all must feel at some point in life. I told him love hadn't found him yet. When it did it would be worth the pain. You just got to keep lookin for it till you find it,if love is what you want.:-) |

I could feel my heart wrenching too. May yours mend without the scars. Caroline He who wants a rose must respect the thorn. |
