I’m an absurdist Ok fine, I’m an insomniac constantly writing poetry about no sleep and screenplays about normal people doing nothing so great. Yeah, if I liked talking I’ll be sure to tell you about it. I like being close-mouthed sometmes. But remember you’ve never met a person like me. That, you can’t argue with. You ask for the time, and I’ll do a lyrical dance about six fifty-two. You ask me what my favorite song is, I’ll give you a kiss on the lips. If you’re ever mad at me I’ll let you charge at me like a bull. I’ll give you the horns if you give me the sombrero and refer to me as Pablo El' Matador. You’ve never met someone like me because when you’re sad, I’ll write you a poem about yips of the universe. Hello, I'm an absurdist. So watch me tapdance while doing a handstand for no reason at all. “True absurdism is not less but more real than reality” |

We should start a club. Being one who would certainly qualify, I much enjoyed this. (One of my favored authors is John Irving, btw. He has absurdism down to an art methinks) Enjoyed your viewpoint, and grinning wide--I understand it completely. |

Has anyone ever called you a tonic? I enjoyed your poem immensely. You must be great fun to be with - and particularly after most stressful days! I am a "somniac" (as opposed to an insomniac). I could fall asleep standing on one leg in the busiest street in New York (first I'd have to get there from South Africa) on the last shopping day before Christmas. - Owl |
