If I had wings to lift you High above the clouds So all troubles Were insignificant specks Barely visible far below I would, joyfully If I had strength enough I'd carry you Safe upon my shoulders And consider it a privilege No matter the terrain But I can only carry Your burdens in my heart If my arms could hold you I'd drag you from the depths However slippery the slope Provide you with shelter Against all storms Even the ones That erupt from within If I could summon power A force-field of love Would repel tribulations And give you tranquility You would be protected And flourish in peace But flying’s not my forte I’m weak in ways That wishing cannot cure And arms can’t span The distances and differences That stretch between us However my soul yearns I can only love Knowing that all I have And all I am Is not enough Still... it's yours. |

Beloved one as always you leave me awestruck this is what poetry is about and YOU darling one have it in your soul. I absolutely love this, and Eddy is right this is a superb example of your ever loving and always giving heart. Did I tell you lately how incredible I (make that we, Gray agrees with me) think you are? Because beloved one you are.
