Looking into the past I cannot see. Looking forward I know not what lies ahead. The past seems to run faster than the present. OH, wait now I see. All the things I've missed, the wrong I've done,the love I never recieved. I don't want to see. Moving ahead seems to make me slower. Stop the ghosts that chase me, there are many, ones I have never seen. Lay me down to feel the rush go over me, the end must be near. The end is never far when we seek to hang on to those things we never recieved. |
