Oh Holy Mother fallen from grace Wipe the sins from this wretched face Tears have burned through angelic skin Unleashing the power and desire to sin Raised alone in black widow’s web I found my way into the devil’s bed Now with love as my victim, I thee wed Time is running out in my hourglass of red Through a broken vow of chastity I was conceived Innocence stolen by a man of God A conception no one would ever believe Mother and daughter, peas in pod A vow to God shattered, a family left alone Fertilized the anger that burns in my soul So to be God’s child I need no Holy Water For I am already a Father’s daughter Melody Lyn Graham Aka Lyn Eagleton 1990 edited 3/30/00 I held great anger for years over this, God had since delivered me. |

This is an exceptional piece of raw, honest writing. Be well dear poet for your slate is clean. Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |

Sigh, we have no control over our birthing circumstances, only what we ourselves do as adults. It's good to move forward, without anger, without guilt or resentment. |
