EVIL November 1998 Before you, I thought evil was dark, satanic and extreme. Now I know that one can be a little evil. Evil is a very bad kind of bad, but one can be only a little bad kind of bad. It’s like the difference between a mass murderer and someone who wanted to murder one person and didn’t through no good of his own and didn’t tell anyone so no one knows what he nearly did and he forgets and the evil thought is lost. Or it can come in the form of lots of little selfish deeds that temporarily crush others in little ways. The resilient victims rebound and forget the act but not the hurt it brought and they have the scars by which to remember. - Owl |

How wise are your words. Those of us carrying around these inner scars sometimes wish that they were on the surface so we could at least apply salve to our wounds. Awesome. hugs, Chris |

Thank you Nightshade and Kate for your kind words. This was written to a particular person at the time, but unfortunately a great many people do a great deal of harm with their hidden little evils. - Owl |
