What is there left, of life to borrow but pain and suffering, again tomorrow when hearts feign sorrow but know not how to bleed? I heard the bells toll, but chose not to heed; indeed, cry me no more tears unless they fall, sincerely freed. A soul full of mournfully tuned fears must hold a heartbeat's cadence or 'twill fall upon deaf ears as disguised lies, bare in appearance. So spare me your grave tomorrow, for I have little need for hearts that feign sorrow but never choose to bleed. * [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (02-23-2006 01:45 PM).] |

thanks ladies! I don't spend much time on rhyme, and this post proves it LOL So I came back in, read it again, and edited, hoping the 'final' cut is superior. |

I like the rhyme in this very much, and it is well done. this is a very strong poem and does pack a wallop. I like the motivation in this one. ~ Karen ~ |

I don't really know. Blame it on my muse. I edited it out of the title. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (02-23-2006 09:25 PM).] |

I always admire your courage and honesty in saying what you believe and standing up for what you know is right. Enjoyed the poem. Please ask your daughter to hug the new foal for me when the mother will let her. - Owl |
