I like what I see in the mirror, But they didn't allow. I like the curves on my body, A status of feminity. But they didn't allow. I like the way my chubby face, rest on my broad shoulders. But they didn't allow. I like the way my hair look, black and thick. But they didn't allow. I like my tighs, carrying me strong. But they didn't allow. I like being myself, But they didn't allow. Whom do I need permission, To like who I am? I didn't allow.... |

we don't need permission from anyone to be happy...to follow our dreams, and mostly be who we are...when we look for acceptance, unfortunaly, we compromise our identity. Well done |

This is great... You've expressed the thoughts of many girls out there today, I'm sure. It's hard to be happy with ourselves when society thinks we should be magazine perfect.... great write. |
