This weathered clock, standing tall against the wall. Waiting for the moment of your arrival, the tick lingering before the soft gong. Will you hear the softness of it’s sound as I wistfully call out your name, letting a tear gently fall as would the tropic rains. I sit, often listening...wishing to hear the whisper of your walk upon the cool floor of night....might it come soon? I have missed your prancing walk...the softness of your voice, the devil's giggle before the fall into the foamy softness of a pillow beneath you....the thump that scurries the bunnies in directions of skelter and helter...your smile...and more. Times will pass ...visions will cross the closed lid...and all will come to be as it shall... [This message has been edited by Magnus (02-19-2006 06:26 PM).] |

"Whatever will be, will be..." still so many little things we might not note when someone is with us are echoing reminders of them when they are absent. I can feel the lilt of footsteps and laughter in this one, and the wist to hear it again. A soft touch to this one... ~ Karen ~ |

Just one question...is it 'weathered lock" or "weathered clock" standing tall against the wall? I was thinking of the old song, "My Grandfather's Clock." |

Lovely Barry...as usual. Another huge *sigh* I have collected thanks to reading you. Although this was a slightly sad sigh. Sending hugs your way. ~ Trace my body with your words, |

Eloquently done Barry.....Some beautifl catchs in there. This is a real twist but just a great picture... "I have missed your prancing walk...the softness of your voice, the devil's giggle before the fall into the foamy softness of a pillow beneath you....the thump that scurries the bunnies in directions of skelter and helter...your smile...and more" Eric IF YOU HAVE TO JUDGE SOMEONE DO IT ON THE SIDE OF MERCY AND LET TIME SEASON THE RESULTS. |
