I seek an angel I look for love I want my heart taken lifted on the wings of a dove But why is that angels always take demons and demons always hurt the angels for no reason Angels have eyes that they never use but they have hearts that they always accuse When a saint comes along he is never seen Evil triumphs over good The evil reigns supreme The saint wanders on broken and untaken looking for his angel his heart forsaken |

you have decribed my feeling here too. Like this part the best. 'But why is that angels always take demons and demons always hurt the angels for no reason' |

Thank you for the comment. This is the first poem I've written in two years due to a massive writers block. I learned that the stress of a novel undone makes one give up on writing all together. I just got tired of the loss of love emotion in my heart, So I put it into words. "Death, so called, is a thing which makes men weep, and yet a third of life is passed in sleep." -Lord Byron |
