These shoes on my feet Are the ones I chose to wear Though they may not be in fashion My life is held in this single pair If they are wrong for walking Only I can change them Should they be correct… Only I can wear them I cannot wear your shoes You cannot wear mine For we have not walked the same road And these shoes are in our minds Original written March 16,1988 by Melody Lyn Wilson Aka Lyn Eagleton |
