stumbling in the dark
trying to find my way.
waiting for you to call my name
instead of making me stray.
i head towards the light,
but only darkness guides me.
leads me to the shadows
why couldnt you leave me be?
i claw my way through
and feel pain seep into my skin.
ive lost the will to live,
why couldnt you let me in.
you pushed me away
till all i could do was hide.
you watched me shed the tears
couldnt you have tried
to let me say im sorry
that i wanted you again
instead of releasing all this hurt,
letting me feel all this pain.
but now im lost,
and cant find the lost light.
i should have tried harder
and put up a fight.
but again i was weak
and let you take charge,
and for that im a coward,
left alone in the dark.
