Faithfully she glides along the street Never a complaint about the heat Her paint is fading as if it were old Living with the constant threat of being sold She glares at her rivals in neighboring lots Thinking of revenge she quietly plots Longing the attention received by her friends She plans a way to put it all to an end Nothing too major, that may cause her death Nothing minor, that would lost in a breath Something that would make them all realize She does have feeling and is hurt by their lies Soon would come the day when she would sit and wait For someone to care for her as if she were great Until such a day, she will wish upon the stars For the special one to realize she’s not just a car 6/26/1990 M. Welcome to Passions, Melody! I suspect there is at least one who knows she's more than a car! In a few years, people will realize she's a classic! |

Herbie's cousin..? Does she have a name? This reminds me of a poem by Flavia about her old car... enjoyed.. hugs, g "We of the craft are all crazy...all are more or less touched." Lord Byron |

This is about my car Brandywine and 1990 Laser. Her restoration is expressed in the prose section as treasured junk. Thanks for your kindness. |
