you're so attractive it's scary

     if only we could bury

the seeds it takes for us to carry

a plentiful crop of memories of us sitting on a couch watching Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry

      catch the bad guys

or watching Tom chase Jerry

    until they both realize

         they're friends

We are all like Tom constantly
chasing Jerry and missing the fact
that we were having fun...and then
we grow up and we want to forget
that we indulged in fun. Your poem
made me smile.
