Of Pollywogs A bull frog set a log a bog Croaking blindly the surround Singing love songs into fog The bagpipe of a bulbous sound Calling out serendipity Using natures given song Fishing pith by suit of witty And thereby lure a maid along Ceaseless does he croak his lure Besting all that croak the same His voice is sweet and he is sure This magic melody of aim A splash has set his heart a thump A wave has traveled to his door He roars a rumble of triumph And leaps into the bank of store Now one less voice sings the bog A victory for pollywogs |

My wife and I just read that together. She said it's Sooo Cuuute. I say it's one of the best, and most amusing thing I have read in a while. It's also one or the most subtly romantic things I've read in a while. Thanx for the read. ~ds, and the missus |

Hi Sy, really enjoyed this! But erm.. what are pollywogs? I don't think we have them in Australia? The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |

polly wogs use to fill a cup with them and take em home. like turtles rabbits cats rats birds, and kids like me. surviving and caring for gods children and keeping whats real. his word, not theirs that destroyed. been a hard journey but my faith has not strayed. dark does bring light and words of need can be lightened to soul and not lust of body. My spirit will rise |

The imagery is great, very descriptive and whimsy. Good job indeed. Cheers - Ed "Give me a museum, and I'll fill it." |
