I was gone but you were still there like the windows in a jeep looking at the mountains and holding up mirrors so the forests can see too what is behind them and yes I glanced at your eyes or where they should be behind the ray ban and sun tan lucky colors to see if there was expression or just pre-tension wondering if I would remember the sign about ten items or less and I had a dozen eggs you counted them in your mind and I read your mouth before it was put into gear but I knew your four wheel drive from another time you were in line but out of line with your math and my six packs were only four packs and you blushed when scolded by the goddess of number three and offered me your handshake but I thought my back was better ___________ daark scribblenote: yep...one of those goofiesuit merrygoroundrides...and no I didn't have eggs, but was amazed at the lady that is always counting..when I get my prozac refilled I think I shall ask her out. |
