a thousand broken pieces lie infront of me on the floor i bend down begin picking up the broken pieces your eyes stare back at me from the ground tears scattered here and there i no i can never repair you again your gone and its my fault i stand here alone with you no longer by my side what did i do to make you choose this route i do not know but yet i still take the blame shame, guilt, and pain is all my body can express when i wake up everyday and remember the broken pieces your crushed heart no longer red from the pain lies staind on the sidewalk memorys flood in and out of my head remembering the sound of your laugh the tease in your voice the taste of your lips pressed against mine and i went and destroyed it all because of it forgive me you have not and broken you remain never coming back to make me whole again if only you could hear me calling out your name if only the rain could heal you for me again puting the pieces back together again she broke you whole and i was left with the remains but still i stand at the table with your name carved on the front of my heart for i still hold the blame for your broken life I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health |
