i could kiss your feet for a 1000 years

if you'd wipe away my tears

and treat me like the rest of your peers

           we both have fears

about what would happen if we went to Cheers

                   one night

and had a good time despite

        the fact i spilled Sprite

                on your dress

when i tried to outguess

          your common sense

     and held you in suspense

was i in love or just too dense

                 to realize

           that your pies

sitting on the window weren't for me?

but reality is too hard to see

with your personality so free

            like the wind

      if i could suspend

                 time

i'd talk to you a little

   so we could unwind

but i can't, so our riddle

stays in the back of my mind

             twisting
