4281 Sunshine over Ottawa 09 September 2005 Midnight was not far away when in Ottawa - was the beginning of a new day A Canadian Sky an ecstasy to bear With a whisper of amour so close in Quebec near The Queensway a highway toward the four - seventeen and onward to a place in the U-S As if Lake Ontario and the Saint Lawrence were all of being a nearby address Sunrise glimmering in hope sunshine over Rockcliffe Park Meanwhile a world away time was challenging where there would be light in relation to what was dark “If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness;” Job 31: 26 KJV a poet who cares |

This works can be viewed in two ways of several To begin with, the Poet lives in New Zealand and has never been to Ottawa or even Canada, nor North America This idea of two worlds and time zones the poem waking - with the Poet about to go to bed in this case. His day over and the day in focus, a new day in Ottawa to begin. Although in this case starting 18 hours behind A poem that touched more than just the initial person of focus. For another in reading this works - held the above words of the poem in her memory. The day she was herself, driving in Rockcliffe Park, Ottawa, Canada It maybe why this offering appeared to go unnoticed for a brief period. Given the nature of the works. As with my Niagara works (Might of Niagara), imagery and imagination collide with the inner voice and spirit from within. Or my personal tribute to Bluegrass singer, Alison Krauss (Alison Maria) a poet who cares |
