howard :

          i see her standing there

              so why do i care

                    so much

to have her vocal chords touch

                   my soul

i don't know, but the Kellogs in her cereal bowl

      are too delicious to pass by

so i'll give a quick conversation a try

and see if i can make her sigh

                 with joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eve :

                  boy!!!!!!!!!!!

didn't i tell you i'm not interested in you pursuing

                 my heart

now get away from me before i start

                 screaming

i've got another guy i'm dreaming

                  about

       he's got all the clout

                i need

and he feels love for me not greed

Howard :

     hmmm.................. should i concede?

or is there a way to weed

               out all the tension

                   between us?

she seems to think i'm the meanest

                   guy around

[speak]

     okay Eve, i see that i'm "On Deadly Ground"

             so i'll back off

but here's my phone number if your boyfriend ever goes soft

                   in bed

      i mean.......... soft "instead"

of understanding your mood swings

       just give this dude a ring

and we can conversate on lots of interesting things

like what it takes to make your heart sing

               in ecstasy
