So beautiful the bold flowers bloom,
Each with a scented lure;
The daffodil wild in the field of hue,
The red rose in the garden pure.

Each will proclaim its nectar the best,
Each is a sight to see,
And each tight-bound in its prison cell
Vies for the kiss of the bee.

Go follow the scent of the rose,
See the daffodil cry;
Vanished in the depth of a muted well
In fell its heartfelt sigh.

But the rose, it needs a perfect light,
It blooms the best at noon;
The daffodil lives in the light of the sun
And under the silver moon.

The happy spirit of the daffy is resilient...and colors the landscape...all of nature's garden.
