there is a new highway today over beside the old one but oblivion grows between as a hedge with hands the just out of sight kind I remember the curves and rise as if they were always there probably just dream lanes that my eye lights high beamed or the watchers whispered as secrets from the backs of their signs and the wind fed to me as their echos when the cellophane between night and day was just a liar's breath thickness ________________ dark scribblenote: ennead is nine..a red line number perhaps, on some machines that don't use speedo's to measure how fast the night can run.. |
