wind chimes... It's much too often here that it ain't the wind that makes 'em sing. Once, I lived by a Laurel tree, home to many generations of flying palmetto bugs.I would sit on the stoop (technically stairs) and smoke my last cig for the night before I retired. It was another breezeless New Orleans August night, and I heard a wind chime tinkle and just knew...and yep, I looked up, and there was one of those flying la cucharhachas (spelling's prolly bad)...landing on my chimes. (*tink*) It was so hot that night I wished he had bigger wings, so he would casta breeze. Gotta love the Equinox. My favorite feast day. hugs lady midnite |
