So sweet the fragrance of the rose so long betrayed by thorn to hand while tiny pebble screams "I AM"... surrounded by the soft of sand The splinter of the olive tree, in humble offering of peace to those who thirst for knowing in the sacred gift of 'babblings' And all that will BE ever WAS in overlooked simplicity... Beyond the beauty of the rose... the truth IS in the thorn ____________ *With special thanks to a 'Twisted' friend/sister, for the inspiration... |

Hi Vicky! "Beyond the beauty of the rose... the truth IS in the thorn" I guess truth lies in the beauty of the rose, and the prick of the thorn. Both together make up the whole, and like everything....it's not perfect, or is it? Its good to see you posting! |

Hello, Ms Vicky! This poem certainly made me take notice! Not only was it written with grace, it was written with wisdom! Beautifully scribed! Love & Light, Linda |

smile Welcome to the family, Vicky. Twist doesn't talk much, but when she does--it's pretty much to the point, ain't it? One of your best, my sistah. |

I just spent ten days on a lush tropical island, surrounded by flowers -- and most of it, wishing there were a single rose somewhere amid the profusion....and on the last day, prest -- there was one. I mean, one single bloom on an otherwise bare plant....I relished the scent of it over a breeze filled with plumeria, and the solid look of it was a pleasure after so many other kinds for so long. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

and that sister needs to get her butt writing . . . Vic? always always - such evil lives within beauty, as if one cannot exist without the other. |
