Weary is the day

There comes a time when
    we are all faced with the question
"What now?"
    Weary is the day

There comes a time when lonliness
    is pressed against our being
and the simple act of breathing
    becomes a concious effort

I have walked on the path of great dispair
   seeking comfort from all the wrong places
I have looked into myself and have seen
    more space than I care to admit
Hollow are the rooms we lock our
    hearts in when the pain is too great to bear
Nothing, nothing can touch or soothe
    that wounded soul

I know that being here is a gift
    and that feeling loss is only possible
if you can feel love
    I know these things to be true but,
it does not make it any easier
    The world may not be a better place for my
    being here.
My world is clouded
    so, for the moment
I will stop fighting
   I will let the currents take me where they will and if the sun shines tomorrow
   I will consider myself a survivor...

Yes, sometimes drifting
is the required measure

Eventually those empty spaces around your weary heart, will fill with warmth and Light once more.

For now, you need time to heal. It is the time for grieving and remembering ~ and regrouping.

I am wrapping my arms around you, Electra, and sending some healing energy your way.

This was an exceptionally moving piece of writing from the depths of beautiful you.

Yes Sunshine, drift with me for a
short while. But not so long that the air weights heavy and I should weight you down.
When I am soaring let me give you back that which you have gifted.

Passing Shadows, what muse there is, is crying and my words are but a pressure bandage to stop the flow. Thank you.
