Bits and pieces
No value
To a world that now
Doesn’t know and wouldn’t care
No matter how you were

A gaze
Those sighs
The few words softly spoken
Beneath summer skies
And winter stars

The road since then
Has been very long
Dusty dirty and full of ways
By which to fall

Still from this bundle
Some call the heart

A little light—
A blanket for the cold

very very softly penned...and much enjoyed.

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Yes...very much so; and this a good poem on which to end a trying day, or a day of trying.
