Bits and pieces No value To a world that now Doesn’t know and wouldn’t care No matter how you were A gaze Those sighs The few words softly spoken Beneath summer skies And winter stars The road since then Has been very long Dusty dirty and full of ways By which to fall Still from this bundle Some call the heart A little light— A blanket for the cold |
