Lily pockets rise in the back yard as moon fills the flower glasses, ancient comes guarding trouble As the birds I know gather. Mother grounds my sorrow as we gable our laughter for laughter. |

"Lily pockets rise in the back yard as moon fills the flower glasses" That is one very cool line. The title is perfect. You know just what you want to say and just how to say it.. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

Like this line a lot... "Mother grounds my sorrow as we gable our laughter for laughter." Good stimulation of ideas. Eric |

*inhaling you* I read your work, and I'm overwhelmed at times as how your spirituality shines through and fills my soul. You are an absolute joy to read dear lady, and oh two, in two days. I'd keep my fingers crossed for more, but it would get in the way of holding your hand. You are clear liquid light Amelia. Beautiful. |

This poem may be short (a good thing), the lines so irregular that anti-form describes them best.... but it captures a poignant moment -- shows it clear in all dimensions -- as well as any structured poem could. I like this poem very much for that, and for its insight. I've read it four times today, but saved my comment 'til now. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
